Pedro Santos was born in Portugal and raised in Canada, where he grew up watching his father build a life—and walls—with his own hands. After immigrating to Canada, Pedro’s father worked as a drywall finisher for decades, passing on a strong work ethic and a deep respect for craftsmanship.
He began drywalling to help pay for flight school, but over time, he found deeper fulfillment in construction and family life. After years learning from his father and working with other crews, he honed his craft through hard work, precision, and a commitment to doing things right.
With more than 25 years of experience and over 50,000 hours on the tools, Pedro founded Truline Drywall to build something of his own, something he could eventually pass on to his children. Today, Truline Drywall is a small, family-run business that brings care, detail, and pride to every project.
His motto is simple:
"There’s no place like home. So let’s make it flawless."

At Truline Drywall, we understand that drywall isn’t just behind the wall. It serves the space, not the other way around. We work with clients who appreciate thoughtful design, clean execution, and finishes that feel intentional from every angle. Whether it’s a modern lakefront build or a refined interior renovation, we help bring your architect’s vision to life with quiet mastery.

Costs depend on the size of your space, the type of finish you want, and whether any repairs are needed. In the Georgian Bay or Wasaga Beach area, most projects range between $1.50 to $3.50 per square foot, including taping and finishing. We offer free walk-through quotes so there are no surprises.
It depends on the size and scope. A single room repair might take a day or two. A full home installation typically takes 3–7 days, including mudding, sanding, and drying time between coats. We provide a clear timeline before we begin.
Level 4 is great for standard wall paint and most homes. Level 5 is a premium, ultra-smooth finish—ideal if you're using flat paint or have lots of natural light that shows surface flaws. We’ll help you choose based on your space and budget.
We do both. Whether it’s a small patch, sagging ceiling, or full wall replacement, we’ve got it covered. Our repair work blends seamlessly into your existing walls so you won’t see where the old stops and the new begins.
Use moisture-resistant drywall like green board or mold-resistant types for these areas. Standard drywall will absorb moisture and can lead to mold. We’ll make sure the right product is used for each part of your home, including laundry rooms and basements.
